Frank Black "Teenager of the year" (or in general)

"Teenager Of the Year" is easily in my top ten favorite albums, even though I mostly prefer pop and R&B. It might also be my favorite rock album (if he competes with anyone, it's his own band the Pixies "Doolittle" but I do also love the Breeders "Last Splash"...competition from the Deals!). It's great many great short hard driving songs that have great musical range. The themes are all over the place and weird (kind of like the Pixies but not as scary). It's the kind of album that will have you asking questions like "Whatever Happened To Pong?". Any praise for this great album or any of his others? I have several of his other albums, but the don't stack up to this one.

nod Teenager of the year is a monstrous killer album maybe better than the last Pixies'one "Trompe Le Monde". I've seen Frank during this tour it was great I like is sense of humor, I didn't follow his solo career after The Cult Of Ray which was "only" good. (I regret that on his first solo album I Heard Ramona Sing hasn't been the single, It's a kick ass addictive song).

I understand the forum being more about R&B, but I really don't care about the new Beyonce album, either!

He is very prolific. I remember when he released two totally unrelated albums on the same day. I only bought "Black Letter Days", though. I'll definitely have to check out his first solo album. Not sure why I haven't yet.
