Rick James turns out the David Letterman Show

Mind, you this with David Letterman's HOUSE BAND. RIP Slick Rick you were the fucking man, all these bullshitting-ass politicians can kiss my ass YOU are the quintessential American original and there won't be another. I hope someday you get your proper respect from America God knows you deserve it.

Thanks, I had wanted to see this again but couldn't manage to find it even with youtube search (perhaps because the song title isn't mentioned anywhere in the description).

My first concert EVER was Mr Rick James on the Throwin Down tour. Great memories from that show.

When asked about that reunion with Melvoin, Prince grows wistful. "She plays acoustic guitar with me better than almost anyone. "The opportunity came up and her name was the first to come to mind. I'm looking for things to juice me too."
