This christmas album gimmick is really really really old! Fans need a real studio album...not a xmas album or a covers album!

I hope it's good. I'm not a big fan of holiday albums either, but if she took the time to do it, I hope she took the time to make it right. The last few holiday albums I purchased were pretty bad. I did like Patti Labelle's that was released last year, as well as the Isley Brothers. They were both decent projects.

Its an "easy money" project,,,,you know Christmas albums sell like crack cakes, so with these artists going through their dry spells, don't expect anything more than a cover/Christmas album.

Not a fan of holiday albums either, a couple of "Christmas" songs in a studio album if they felt the need to. I think the ONLY Christmas album I own is this... 
And I rarely even listen to it at that. I'm surprised you don't have Alexander O'neal's Christmas album. I think you would like it. Sleigh Ride makes you want to shake your ass. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
