More proof that MTV needs to "give up the ghost" when it comes to music videos.

Signs of the Times. When the MTV Generation sees only 1 video on this list they think of as a classic, they -- including me -- are getting old.

No you're not old, you're smart. Shit I'm only 24 and I don't know how any of the videos besides "Thriller", "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Sabotage" are "classics".

Praise You is actually one of my faves - I'm impressed.

Quite an interesting list IMHO - glad BB's are there, and the Blur video.

But these kind of lists are, of course, nonsensical a priori.

These are supposed to be the top ones of all time? And why is there even one shit hop video listed? I'm not saying this just because it's a bullshit genre of music (and it is), but I don't see how a shit hop video got enough airplay on the channel to become a top video of all time because reality shows had taken over the channel by then.

Despite what many may feel about Michael Jackson, Thriller changed the entire game as far as music videos are concerned, and should always be number 1.

I'm now a huge Jamiroquai fan but amazingly,I wasn't a fan of theirs when they were riding high with this song and video! I didn't become a fan until 1999.I kinda feel like I missed out on their American heyday.1996/1997 is the only time when they were really popular in America.

I had heard of them back then but they weren't exactly my kind of group back then. I remember them sounding kinda slow to midtempo jazzy artsy/fartsy type R&B. That's why I thought you had lost your damn mind when you first recommended "A Funk Odyssey" to me years later and thought it might be something I might like. Fortunately, they had changed their style, sped up the tempo and started getting off. It was like the disco era all over again. lol
