Ive heard The Long Road and All The Right Reasons and by god they are dull. I think they're capable of a decent ballad but their rock songs are appalling. They have the most boring rhythm section in rock music. Every song has that locked in almost suffocating feel to it. There's no swing or groove at all. The Long Road in particular was terrible.

i think they're awful, but for some reason they are always on the charts selling a gajillion albums every week. what i want to know is, who is buying up all these nikelback albums? i don't know anyone who owns one. unless it's like fetish porn or something and everyone buys it and hides it under their mattress and nobody owns up to having it. but SOMEONE has to be buying all those nicklebark albums! No, Nickelback is not the worst band out there. There are far worse bands performing these days. They're just bland and generic. They're the musical equivalent of comfort food; easy to consume, isn't offensive, goes down smoothly, but quickly forgotten afterward. In fact, most modern rock music from Simple Plan, Fall Out Boy, Good Charlotte, and Daughtry is the same way.
