Well, I now know for a fact that the battle Whitney vs. Mariah was not only a fan thing.
I had never, ever, seen Whitney in a Diva Moment, and believe me, that "I don't think of her" was pretty rude to me... It was 1990... What was Mariah doing at that time??

Oh, one more thing, my students wouldn't believe me if I told them they could understand Whitney talking in an interview... Being so young they only know her "hood" accent (which is pretty difficult to follow for a non native speaker of English- like years later in Sawyer's interview...).
