That was a big album not only locally, but nationally. Classic Southern California album. Up there with Beach Boys' "Pet Sounds," Dr. Dre's "The Chronic," The Go-Go's "Beauty & The Beat," N.W.A's "Straight Outta Compton," Rage Against The Machine's debut and Wall of Voodoo's "Call of The West." ... TELL'EM THO! lol this is straight up cali right here.(id like to add sublime self titled to that list as well) remember when girls were becoming gwenabees? -I'm the opposite of moderate, immaculately polished with the spirit of a hustler and the swagger of a college kid.-

It was before I became a madonna fanatic... I was totally into r&b/hip hop and pretended to hate some alternative, but looking back, I loooove their songs.

On a side note: I can see why I liked ska-punk-pop like No Doubt and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones back then, it's bright sounding considering how dark a lot of popular music became when Nirvana, Seattle grunge and gangsta rap blew up. So from 1991 - 1996 it was like the mainstream was under a hazy cloud.

This was a beam of sunlight compared to the midtempo, acerbic stuff on the airwaves in those days. Even though Tragic Kingdom's a great, high-tempo album, Gwen was largely mulling over her breakup with Tony Kanal. When you follow the No Doubt catalogue it took her a long time to get over that. She didn't finally get over Tony 'til 2004's "Cool." lol really! I always think the same thing he must have some magical stuff going on, whenever he had girlfriend reeling for like 10 years! My name is Stacey, and I go bang

I used to like the video too. This was back when I used to like No Doubt. Just kinda fell off with them. Other than "Home Now", I haven't listened to them in ages. I tried to, but just couldn't get back into them like in middle/high school. "Home Now" reminds me of The Police. Mario Kart Wii Friend Code: 0645-6392-7359.

Many things are forgotten. We have a throwaway culture that forgets about its past and his arrogant about it.
