Why did she change her mind about playing Detroit?

Applekisses,I am thrilled for you! I know you must be jumping for joy.I can't believe that Madonna came to her senses and finally decided to play Detroit.It's ridiculous for an artist to skip their hometown when they go on a tour.

She came to town for a Michael Moore film somethingorother and was so excited about the reception she received that she decided to book a date here.

I guess the whole thing about not coming here was because she was afraid we stopped loving her.

She premiered a documentary she produced about Malawi at Michael Moore's film festival in Michigan. Evidently she and Michael Moore are good friends, and I think he had something to do with it. He broke the news to the public after all.

She is playing my hometown in September for the first time ever and the show is hyped a lot in the media here . I won't go as I don't really care for her and the tickets are not cheap, but I wish everyone who is going a great time! And I want to hear reports about how it was!
