"Let It Whip" by The Dazz Band

This was THE jam to start off the summer of 1982. Too bad we don't have summers like that anymore. Nowadays, I can't wait for summer to be over so these little brats can go back to school. lol

Anyway, give it up for "Let It Whip" dammitt. lol

I totally agree with you 100% on that. I never get tired of this song no matter how many times they play this on any old-school radio station. music

Love this song, but I'm kind of tired of it. It's one of those oldies that the oldies stations play the hell out of.

I just re-discovered another Dazz Band track I had forgotten about....
"Swoop (I'm Yours)".

"Let It Whip" is the definition of a true classic in my book, meaning that even though it is worn out I'm still not tired of it. Even that commercial can't kill it for me.

They had some other good songs like "Joystick" but LIW is their essential jam.
