This video haunts me - help me identify it? (early-mid 90's)

Last night I was reminded of this video/song I saw once years ago and have never been able to identify. I figured there would be no better place to ask for help than here!

So, without further ado, let's play Guess the Mystery Video!

Clues:

- It stars a heavily set black woman, in glamerous make-up and clothes.
- The story revolves around her seeking out her father/sugar daddy after she finds her man cheating, and them going to seek him out (or something).
- The father-figure is presented as being a powerful man in the underworld.
- It's set in what looks like a very expensive world, at night (high class night clubs, the woman and her father are very well dressed and travel by limo).

Unfortunately I can't remember any of the lyrics, but they follow the same basic plot as the video, and the song has quite a dark, haunting undercurrent.

Any guesses?
