These are not the same Dynamics
There are probably at least eight different bands called "The Dynamics" or "Dynamics"
These guys recorded two albums, one in the late sixties and this one, What A Shame, in 1973. The Dynamics you are talking about, have only one album, released in 2007. Besides, they are more of a reggae act, if I'm not mistaken

The Dramatics started life out as The Dynamics. But I think that they only released a single or two before becoming the much more famous moniker.

Dude put out a cold-blooded solo album full of well-written songs. The CD is funk rock but all I could find was an acoustic version of one of the songs. Now he plays with John Mayer, getting his ideas siphoned by him.

One of the best ever concept albums by two of the most talented musicians you probably never heard of, Les Pierce and Bernard "Skipper" Wise.

You can hear some very meaty 2 minute samples of each track at:
http://cdbaby.com/cd/colourclub1 but don't click on Play All Tracks; the sequence is all screwed up and this is a work that's definitely meant to be heard in the intended order. You won't get the segues here but the album itself is one continuous track.

Standout track is probably Freedom Words but there are many styles covered here and they are all good in their own way and the overall efffect is feeling like you've been on a musical journey ala Sgt. Pepper or Dark Side of the Moon.

"Probably one of the most innovative projects is the album "Colour Club" of the same named group. Released 1994 on the JVC label, it found no successor in this style. The group changes to club/dance and contemporary urban/RnB. Colour Club are Les Pierce and Bernard Wise. The album is a mixture of acid jazz, smooth jazz and some hip-hop. My favorite : "Freedom Words" with soundbites of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (Rick Braun plays the fantastic muted trumpet on the second part). Also recommendable: "Consumption", it's my Rick Braun special. Bernard 's bass sounds like Marcus Miller and "The Cultures of Jazz", this jazzy hip-hop tune has a kicking brass section (Tony Guerrero - trumpet and Gary Meek - sax). Search the album, it's worth the buy!"

Genre: Folk / Country / Bluegrass / Pop (?)

Standouts: Empty Hearts, Ghost In This House, It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference, Maybe, Never Got Off The Ground (wow!), Stay, That Kind of Love (that's almost entire album - yes it's that good.)

Comments: A lucky find. Forget About It is simply a very beautiful, heartfelt and super-melodic album. Nearly every song captivates the listener
with subtle and elegant vocal arrangement, intelligent lyrics, and charming folk backing tracks. I guess the only thing that one might hold against this album is that some songs do sound alike. They do, but that's what makes this also a very cohesive album.

GIVE IT A TRY! Seriously.
