Glad you liked it. I'm in a kind of "80s" mood tonight...it's funny how you don't realize how good the music was back then compared to the crap that have out today...Yes, I confess, I love the 80s... lol

I knew it. I'm not going to lie, I'm confessing, I'm not ashamed to admit lol that back then I always thought Micki was fine. I was like thank you Howard Hewitt for leaving the group...love...Pretty boys were in during that time. I wasn't the only one either that thought he was fine. He's older now, but still looks good lol I found out he is claiming his native american ancestry. He has acted in Native American documentaries according to the bio on his myspace page.

In that video that band sounds like a ripoff of Prince music. So many musicians were trying hard to copy Prince in those days...they didn't succeed though, Prince is still looking good after 30 years of music.

Yeah, Micki's always been a great musician, and a HELL of a guitar player!!!

I remember reading here that Prince wanted Micki to replace Jesse Johnson in The Time.

So I guess that Micki's always had a Prince influence since the early to mid-80's!!!

Mach, I had posted her video and it disappeared. It was posted in the 80s music thread with Bernard Wright's video, but then it was not available. The singer's name was "Cherelle". It was the video "I didn't mean to turn you on" Somehow it will become unavailable when trying to post it. She sang with Alexander O'Neal as well. I'll see if I find the vid.

Watching those Shalamar video's made me realize that they were one hell of a group!! Not only were their vocal's tight, but so was everything else. You even had my jam, "Take that to the Bank". Thanks for finding this!!
