who was rocks greatest frontman??

In your opinion who was or is rocks greatest ever frontman (not including prince).

For me Ill go for the old queen himself Freddie mecury!!!

personally, i vote for Prince, but i think Freddie Mercury is more popularly regarded as holding the title.

...and on that note, if it were just general frontmen (not rock), I'd say James Brown.

Prince most DEFINITELY is equal 2, if not greater than, the great JB, and even "fits" as a candidate 4 a true Rock frontman as much as any of the Classic Rock frontmen AND their lead guitarists.

4 Classic Rock (even including the '80s and '90s), U have Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury. Jimi Hendrix, and even Mick Jagger. Marc Bolan should be included.
