What album/cd do you love from beginning to end and why?

To be honest with you, I enjoy almost every cd I have from start to finish. Sure, there are a few that have average songs, but for the most part I enjoy all music I buy. I'm very picky about what I buy and I seldom buy pop music (only if I've heard it and know I will like it).

I could list many, but here are a few....

Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks - a true masterpiece from start to finish!
George Michael - Listen without Prejudice - same as above
Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers - same
Lauryn Hill - The miseducation of....- amazing
D'Angelo - Voodoo - this cd really moves me and the music is incredible.
Marvin Gaye anthology - I love everything.

INXS "Kick"

This album is truly a classic. Timeless songs like 'Never Tear Us Apart', 'Need You Tonight/Mediate', and 'New Sensation'. Michael Hutchence delivered on every song and the band is amazing. A must have.

I also like Angie Stone's, "Mahogany Soul" album. Very soulful especially on the song, 'Making of You'.

There are many others but those two immediately were thought of.

U2 - Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby Both perfect top to bottom; I'd say that they're my two favorite albums of all time.

Depeche Mode - Violator Not every track is as strong as "Enjoy the Silence" or "Halo", but even the lesser tracks like "Blue Dress" and "Clean" are worthy.

REM - Automatic for the People Much like Joshua Tree and Violator, this is an album that works as a cohesive whole, not just a collection of songs. I can't imagine it with any songs added or removed, it just wouldn't work as well.

David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, Station to Station, Low, "Heroes" What can I say? Bowie's a genius. Never thought I'd rate the second halves of Low and "Heroes", as I'm not really into instrumentals, but the albums are perfect. Station to Station is probably my favorite Bowie disc ever, and ...Ziggy is probably the ultimate "concept album".

Madonna - Like a Prayer Although I may be biased because Madonna was my first musical love, I can't find fault with this album. My favorites aren't even the two biggest hits, rather the lesser known cuts like "Oh Father" and "Til Death Do Us Part". I also really like the fact that while her main US competition was releasing very of the moment music like RN 1814 and Forever Your Girl, Madonna put out a very organic sounding record. Listen to "Miss You Much" or "Straight Up" and then listen to "Keep It Together" or "Cherish". Madge's cuts don't scream 1989 the way the others do.

Pearl Jam Vs Not my favorite PJ album (that honor goes to No Code), but probably the most cohesive. Not to mention that every single song on here is a winner. Plus "Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town" is probably the best thing Vedder's ever done. Ever.

Pet Shop Boys - Behavior The album that proved that they could write more than just ironic synth pop, Behavior is full of soul and life. "Jealousy" and "Being Boring" are probably two of the most intelligent songs of their genre, and the rest of the album is of the same quality.

Talking Heads - Remain in Light, Speaking in Tongues One rewrote the rules of music, the other is just a blast to listen to, I can't find fault with either one of these discs. Perfection.

And I know they "don't count" because they're greatest hits albums, but
