My Spice Girls Set List

One week and 3 days til the Spice Girls and here is my ideal setlist at the moment.

Solo songs...That's cool but Geri should do just about anything from the first album instead of that passable cover.

I only said that one because it was the biggest Solo Spice Hit. I'd prefer Bag It Up or Ride It.

I didn't read "ideal"...or I guess "my" as well. I don't think they'll do solo hits. They'll do maybe all the stuff on the hits disc but it would be cool.

As for Geri, I figured both "Mi Chico Latino" and "Look At Me" where number ones in the UK.

that's too short of a show! they need to do more than that.

i think they were both #1s but her biggest hit was It's Raining Men.

Cant get excited.
the whole thing about them was their wacky dont care original and young vibe.
thats so lost now. it wont be same. it was a moment in time.
I want to remember as they were not stuck up anorexic cows.

Interesting thing about the Spice Girls is that it's all about those songs as they sound on record. In other words, don't expect any jam sessions/theater filler that even Madonna and Janet. So maybe you're right, but I honestly wouldn't expect a long show.

I looked it up becuase I'm a nerd. "Look At Me" peaked at two (possibly a dissapointment) but I think all the other singles from that CD where number one. All of her singles hit top ten except "Passion". She did very well...probably better than all the others.

I have to say, I can not stand Spice Girls. I guess I didnt get the whole buzz first time around, but now, even more so. You couldnt pay me enough to go see them. I think its Posh that really aggrevates me. Isnt she rich enough?

i have a couple live boots one from Istanbul one from Wembly for the first tour and one from Earls Court on the Forever Spice Xmas tour and they used really good bands with some sessions during costume changes.

I just saw the setlist from last night's show in Vancouver. There really is a mini-set of solo hits. I didn't think there would be. smile
