I love Patti, but all of that really wasn't necessary. She defenitly overreacted.

NICE, & no she didn't overreact. She's a woman of a certain age, you don't just say anything to anybody (fucking kids today!). She treated him like the child he was acting like, thought about it & made amends. I like that she resolved it that way & gave him the opportunity to apologize. Bottom line - RESPECT YOUR ELDERS exclaim

Um... wow. That was intense. omg It made me feel uncomfortable.

I think Patti got surprisingly pissed, but I guess you should NEVER make a diva the butt of a joke... especially at her own show.

I don't know what little kim shit you're on about but that's not the point, neither is the subject of the song. She didn't say anything lewd TO HIM, she simply said "I think he's standing too close to me" or whatever & he goes on to make a comment about her intentions. The shit wasn't cool...

nod This guy took his fifteen minutes of fame and started clowning Patti in her house. #1 rule all men should live by: Don't try and clown a black woman in front of a bunch of people and THERE WON'T BE NO DRAMA!

Did I hear correctly? Did she threaten to "pimp slap"him? eek
Can a fan get a restraining order against Patti Labelle!?! lol

She said that he was standing too close to her,

to which he replied "You want it more than I do"

when she asked him, in utter disbelief what he said, he replied, to a grown assed black woman, in HER house, "You heard me"...

ummm... NO. Just NO. He NEEDED his ass to be shut down right then and THERE

Question: Did any of you feel 5 years old again, like you were witnessing a friend get busted and just wanted to stay perfectly low-key so you weren't next? lol I felt like at any moment, Patti might bust out a belt or houseshoe on his butt.

Patti LaBelle went old school! It looks like every man standing in the back had that "I'm not gonna mess with her" look!

I don't think that's a fair assessment. He didn't have "gall". He only said that because he didn't realize she was being serious. I don't think he intentionally tried to clown her. No doubt he messed up but different ppl have different standards and he didn't know her limits and he made the mistake of thinking she would play along. He didn't realize he'd offended her until she called him rude and told him to leave. And I think she realized that and I like the way she handled it at the end.
