Well surely it's Otis Redding's 'Sitting On the Dock Of The Bay'?

Me too! This was one of the first records I ever bought - 1991 sure was a great summer for music.

I think one of my favourite songs for whistling has to be 'Eye Know' by De La Soul, though it samples the classic 'Sitting on the dock of the bay' by Otis.

Apart from that, I really like 'My Name is Jack' by Manfred Mann or, for the pure novelty factor, how about Jiminy Cricket's 'Give a little whistle' from Pinocchio lol biggrin

confuse Why does everybody love to hate this silly little feel good song?

I could probably bring the Org to its knees by posting a list of songs that truly deserve some serious hatred. biggrin
