Different playing styles every dj has a different way of playing but you can always tell when one is influenced by another, frankie and tony stand out for me because they have this truth to how they play, that it is all about the music and how that energy extends from the booth to the floor, i dont know if you have checked out my sets that i post here, but that is how i play and that is what i learned.

Yes

Discovery to be honest was real cheesy to me..i like anime, but i think thats what ruined the album for me! i can't like listen to the song without getting mental images of the anime(not saying it was bad the anime, just saying it hits a cheese factor.) i love how daft punk is like experimental but like at a fun level, for example did you know that the whole "homework" record was recorded in thomas bedroom! with like very little instruments!

Discovery is fun for me too.
"Harder, Better, Faster ,Stronger" can be too much fun lol
that song kinda goes over the top for me.
But it's a great cd for in the car cheese and all lol

Abdul

My favorite DJ is a cat named G-Force who spins on our old school station here in Philly, 105.3 WDAS FM from 8PM to 2AM every Saturday Night.

I like how he doesn't just play the hit old school records but he digs in the crates and plays TONS! of album cuts from my favorite funk artists, and he always stays in the groove, whatever he mixes it always makes sense.

Ya'll should check him out next Saturday online at 105.3 WDASFM.COM, G-Force is always on point.
