I was much younger when these episodes came on, even though I remember them clearly. My weekend wouldn't start until I watched Soul Train. I didn't realize how repetitive these episodes were. They tape 2 or 3 shows in one day. The folks have the same clothes on (at least change an outfit), the music is pratically the same, just the guest stars are different. There TONS of music out back then. I love watching these classic eps, but I'm a little dissapointed by how they were directed.

Storm knocked out my tivo, so it didn't record. Of all episodes to not record, it would be Jermaine Jackson doing "Let's Get Serious". I'm very salty right now

That Patricia had some spunk to her, I bet Don got a piece of that.

The moonwalk and the pop locking was going on long before Michael Jackson made it well known

I thought the entire show was great but Don needs to fast forward ahead a few months when some different songs got popular. I definately want more episodes from the year 1980 but some of the same songs have been played on the last three episodes. Andy is a four letter word.

How dare you Abdul, disrespect Patricia Pat Davis. Don, never got a piece of anything from Pat. During the 70's, (1971-1976) the dancers on there were mostly under 18. Pat danced on Soul Train starting at the age of 15 and stopped at 17. Don Cornelius in a way was a mentor and guide for Pat. He adored her and was his favorite dancer. She was like a child of his, as well as the other under 18 dancers. He would have committed statutory rape if he had got a piece of that. He didn't dare think it with her. What he did with women of age later on, is another story. Keep your nasty, vulgar thoughts to yourself Abdul. Your probably not use to ladies, since you probably only associate with whores because your one but Pat Davis was a lady first and foremost. Don't lower and cheapen Pat because your low and cheap. She was a dancer, a highly respected dancer who didn't shake her ass and dress provocative. She was a real dancer, who knew how to do real, creative dancers unlike women after her and women today who dance like strippers. Get your facts straight before you spread rumors. This is how rumors are started and lives ruined, you weren't there so how the hell would you know if he got a piece? I was there and I know Pat and he got nothing from us. You jack-off idiot! Yeap, Patricia had spunk and she could also use it in beating someone's ass when they disrespected her....man or woman. Your tough in front of a computer screen and talk big with your keyboard but you wouldn't dare disrespect her to her face! Asshole! [Edited 7/18/07 12:06pm]

You're taking things way too seriously up in here. Abdul posts here all the time and has been watching the old episodes every week and loves them. He meant no harm with his remark. He was simply making a joke. We joke in here all the time. Relax, let your hair down, and have some fun. Andy is a four letter word.

Whoever this person is sent me two orgnotes about this, they need to get a life whoever they are I checked this person's profile and their reply to you is their first and only post on the org. This thread is almost three weeks old, so when this person joined the org, they had to do some serious looking for the thread because it was probably on the seventh or eighth page by now. For an outsider to find this thread, they probably searched yahoo or google for "Patricia" (whatever her last name is) and this thread may have come up in the search results since the episode she was on was recently aired. For a stranger to get that mad over one simple line like "I bet Don got a piece of that", for all we know, it could be Patricia herself harrassing you. I'll tell ya, if Shitney Houston ever searches the internet for shitty comments made about her and some of mine come up, she would probably come looking for my ass with a gun.
