What's wrong with me? I kinda LIKE the new Sinead album!

Aside from "Collaborations", which doesn't really count because it's a collection of various duets from other people's albums, I haven't TRULY liked a Sinead O'Connor album since "Am I Not Your Girl", and I haven't even KINDA liked a Sinead album since "Universal Mother".

But you know what? Her new one, "Theology", ain't bad!

It's very simple and folky, but her voice is on fire again. It reminds me of an album full of "Black Boys on Mopeds" and "Last Day of Our Acquaintance", only all the songs are hymn-like and have very bluegrass-y/mountain music-y accompaniment.

It's nothing amazing or groundbreaking, and it's not Reggae Sunsplash II - it's just very pretty music. Go Sine-Aid!

Anyone else heard it yet? Thoughts?
