Las Vegas Sun - April 02, 2007 gives rave reviews regarding Stone's recent appearance in Las Vegas 03/31/07. His voice was strong and he seemed charged up at the experience, even moving to the edge of the stage to greet his amped-up fans. It was Stone's first Vegas show since a 1972 appearance at the Las Vegas Convention Center and who had since become a virtual recluse for two decades.

Christopher Pratt of Elements Entertainment Los Angeles says about Sly's show on 03/31/07. The show was incredible, they did all the hits and the crowd went nuts. Ready for some "Hot Fun in the Summertime". After two decades out of the spotlight, reclusive Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Sly Stone has decided to return to the concert stage. Sly and the Family Stone will headline the "Back in the Day" event July 7 in the Arena Green park near HP Pavilion. The concert will also feature the Average White Band and the Latin Sensations, a Latin rock supergroup.

Sly joined The Family band for several songs, including "Thank You", "I Wanna Take You Higher", & "Dance to the Music". Stone's half-hour appearance lasted throught the end of the concert. Afterward, he even signed autographs and walked among the crowd.

"The Family Stone has original member Cynthia Robinson on trumpet, Sly's little sister, Vet Stone and his neice Lisa Stone on vocals, along with Grammy-winning vocalist Skyler Jett. The Family Stone is produced by Sly himself, with music written and arranged by his hand. This is the only official source for new information about Sly's Family Stone."
