Jam of the Day: "Dance Floor" by Zapp

This is one of the baddest jams by Zapp. Especially the long version where it breaks down with the bass and handclaps.

Give it up dammitt.

Andy has spoken dammitt.

Who u tellin' Vain? One of my faves by Zapp. This was the all important follow up to their masterpiece "More Bounce To The Ounce." And to show the planet that Dammit Janet, Roger wasn't someone to be fucked with, he let loose another masterpiece, "So Ruff, So Tuff".

SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him."

I agree. I've seen Zapp/Roger quite a bit myself. First time opening on the Controversy tour! But yeah, should be something on dvd.

That's a very accurate description! Zapp is my favorite eighties funk act, together with Prince.

IMO, the best Zapp song after "More Bounce to the Ounce" and one step ahead of "Computer Love."

THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. HOLD ON TO YOUR DRAWERS!
