Kylie Minogue's "Kylie Minogue" (1994) is better that Madonna's "Bedtime Stories"

cool

Beats madonna's classless aproach to R&B! Maybe the second worse madonna album after like a virgin

Even the b-sides are better than Madonna's! razz

Also it's best Kylie album in terms of vocals. DIVALICIOUS STUFF! (Listen to Dangerous game!) Kylie dares to hit notes that hagdonna will never be able to hit even with studio gimmicks!

don't hate on bedtime stories, it's such a good album. save for one
or two songs that are simply too weak even to be b-sides, it is one
of her better efforts imo.

i didn't really like the Kylie album, although Confide In Me is my
favorit song of hers.

The album wasn't very memorable, IMHO. Certaintly not as touching, affectionate and tight as "Bedtime Stoires".

I truly agree with this. I think it's one of her strongest albums nod I'm really finding we have very much similar, almost exact, taste in music smile

I don't think Kylie's anything is better than Madonna. I'm sorry, that's IMHO.

I wouldn't go that far, especially if Madonna-diehards liked Erotica a lot more than the music critics ever did. But I've always said that Bedtime Stories was Madonna's response to THESE albums:

I'm glad this thread is making a nice discussion and frankly positive thread. Ok, I admit I wanted to make a bold and scandalous statement and see the reactions of the orgers! boxed

Confide In Me and Dangerous Game are wonderful, classy songs with great melodies and timeless production.

The rest is shit.

KM 94 reminds me of Paula Abdul's Head Over Heels. Aside from Confide In Me, Put Yourself In My Place and Dangerous Game it's not all that great. Though the remixes of Where Is the Feeling and Where Has The Love Gone are amazing.

I've been worn down to the point of accepting Kylie.

I even like several of her songs. But PLEASE don't ask me to compare her to Madonna one more time.

speaking of Madonna...I just heard an interesting update on her next album

She's working with producer Dangermouse....who produced Gnarls Barkley and Gorillaz clapping This sounds alot more promising than the Pharrell rumor.
