Effete pretty-boy UK synth-wimps usually don't lift my skirt, but this was one of my favourite singles back then, and I think it still holds up quite nicely. So when I say that I know me, how can I know that?

That's one of the Big 3 of '80s Pop IMO. It's flawless.

I liked this song in the mid 80s, but I would rather not here it now actually.

My favorite of theirs, too. I never liked them for years but got into them recently. I'm not saying I'm hoping for a revival, but I like their hits. Check out this link in order to help save disco/classic dance for satellite radio listeners: http://www.petitiononline...ition.html

this is my song!!! I did love "Everybody wants to rule the world", but "head over heels" is the shit!!! "Fredo, you're my older brother, and I love you, but don't ever side with anyone against the Family again....ever"
"You're nothing to me now. You're not a brother, you're not a friend."

They already started the revival, and it's been great! Everybody Loves a Happy Ending, their comeback album, was one of the best of 2004 IMO. I love "Head Over Heels" as well, but "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" is my favorite (with "Sowing the Seeds of Love" after that). HOH would be #3.

So I take it you don't strut your stuff to Erasure? There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

Oh yeah!...best thing they ever did, IMO. This was the song that made me want to learn piano. [Edited 10/30/06 14:36pm]
