I think Jon, Mikey, & Roy were fed-up with George's drug problems. They were also sick and tired of waiting for George to return to the band.

I know it doesn't make it right (since Boy George is THE real voice of Culture Club), but THIS is the music business. And there is 3 other band members that needs to make money. Plain & simple.

That's true, all good and everything but really, who wants to see Culture Club without Boy George?

I worked at the Fox Theatre in Detroit a few years ago and Culture Club came. I swear every single person I showed to their seat that night asked me specifically if I was sure that Boy George was there. They made no secret of the fact that they were there to see Boy George.

I'm not saying that everybody feels that way. I'm just saying alot do! If they can get beyond that hurdle and make it work then more power to them and I wish them all the best!

all i'm saying is i grew up in those years and i can't name a member of the group other than boy george. shrug i only sort of know that boy's boyfriend at the time was someone in the group. and i only know that because of the boy george connection. lol
