The girl getting married is in her late 20's, she requested Going to California by Zeppelin, so we're learning that. We're a rock band, so I don't think we'll be doing Endless Love, more like Moondance What are your favorite love songs? your band could rock the house with these.... iris-goo goo dolls i won't sleep-dido never tear us apart-inxs wonderful tonight-eric clapton every little thing she does is magic-the police crash-dave matthews band nobody else-los lonley boys angel eyes-jeff healey band silly love songs-wings i belong to you-lenny kravitz

If I were in a ROCK group, I had to play some Love Themed tunes, here are a few i'd pick.

I like Drive, More than This, Never Tear Us Apart (we've tried that one once), Every Little Thing She Does..., Wonderful Tonight I'd love to do some Steely Dan, I'm not sure if the others can handle the changes, but it's worth a try. We're rock, but we can handle r&b, too, as long as it's not Whitney or Jeffrey Osborne. Remember, we're just trying to "get the job done". Maybe more later. tA Tribal Disorder

http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 I know, I know I definitely don't like every song we do, but as long as someone does... I just though of: I Believe in You--Dylan, though it's a love song to Jesus, I think. U2's gotta have something

http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 [Edited 7/27/06 13:42pm] I'd also name-check I Saw The Light, It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference and Hello it's me as songs that get their point across without being wimpy about it. Most economic fallacies derive from the tendency to assume that there is a fixed pie, that one party can gain only at the expense of another.
