I will always ,reluctantly,have El as a guilty pleasure.I say reluctantly because I have accepted that I will,for the most part,get ridiculed when I mention him.Now,he gets love ,but not like he should.And his career should have been more stellar.He showed a lot of potential at an early stage in life.

Maurice White did some excellent producing on In The Storm
The ballad-work sounds solid .

And i thought it was a great combo of swaying newjackfunk with sharp EW&F horns in the track Legs .
Keith Crouch was slammin on the synths !

sidenote:imho, el's in the storm is highly underrated. it was about 5-6 years ahead of it's time. it was neo-soul b4 there was neo soul. the way he infused marvin gaye with his sound was incredible. i had no clue about some of those references until afterwards.
