What album (by any artist) do you never get round to buying/listening to?

snowflake

are there any albums you've been wanting to buy or download for
a long time now and somehow you just don't get round to it or u
always leave their cd in the store in favor of some other album?

mine is:

01. Bruce Springsteen - The Ghost of Tom Joad

Somehow, I always thought I'd like this album very much since it
is an acoustic album and all. I don't know, something about it's
cover and songtitles and whole story just makes me think that Id
love it. But it is the number 1 album I never get round to check
out. I've never even heard a single song off it.

I recently got "Songs in the key of Life" and can't yet get into it.
The only song I immediately liked was "Have a talk with God".

So, "The Ghost of Tom Joad" is good? I imagine it to be to Bruce
what "The Truth" was to Prince. am I right?

Odelay is a great album! I only got it after Guero neutral
but it's a good album with some very cool songs on it.

I always intended to pick up "Aegetis Byrjun" by Sigur Ros back in the day, but never did. Thankfully, a good friend just got it for me.

It's not as stripped-down as The Truth. I would say Nebraska would be more akin to that album (although Nebraska was recorded on a 4-track cassette recorder). Joad is mostly full-band acoustic numbers, downtempo, very softly played. The tracks are mostly sad, story-songs (although there is a track or two that offers a glimmer of hope).

P.S. Thinking back, there aren't that many "full-band" songs on Joad, but it is not nearly as sparse as Nebraska.
