I like Alicia. I do own her 2 cds. (Diary is the better) I think she is talented. You can't say the same for a lot of others. I brought Songs In A Minor because i liked the music.... not because of all the talk about her. The same with Diary. Yes! I also do agree that they do tend to hype her a lot. But, i still think she carries herself well. I see a young lady who is still growing as an artist. She has not yet reached a peak to be called the best. She is being pushed very well. Definitely, The fact that she has looks, writes, & produces her own stuff really works in her favor to sell records. She has an audience that will buy her material regardless of what she puts out.
