Tiffany Robbed!! on Hit Me Baby!

my thoughts on Hit Me Baby One More Time

Loverboy-did a good job with thier own song Working for the weekend and an even better job on Hero

CeCe Peniston-did ok with Finally (never did like that song tho) and she did a very good job with that Faith Hill song

A Flock Of Seagulls-did I Ran pretty good but picked a bad song to sing when they picked that Ryan Cabbrera song

Arrested Development-they did a so so job on Tennesee and a bad job with Heaven

Tiffany-sounded better than ever with I Think We're Alone Now and did an excellent version of Kelly Clarksons Breakaway

in my opinion Tiffany should have won this easily with Loverboy 2nd but of course as with everthing else today the worst act won!

i thought the show was very cool and it was kinda interesting how i thought all the artists did the newer songs even better than there own hits

Sorry, but Arrested Development deserved to win. Their harmonies were on and those 2 girls were excellent singers. They had the crowd fired up also. They took that song "Heaven" and made it their own. Hate to disagree, but that was my take on it. Loverboy sounded better doing "Hero", and A Flock Of Seagulls wasn't even the original band. The singer sounded like his voice was going and looked a little too old to be jamming with 2 28 year old heavy metal lookalikes (his bassist and guitarist). Ce Ce Peniston looked and sounded GREAT, and so did Tiffany. But Arrested won over the crowd. It'll be interesting to see what Vanilla Ice is going to do.

I'll have to agree with this one. Mike Reno has gained like 100 pounds and his voice was awful.

CeCe sounded great , but those dancers she had out with her on Finally were getting on my nerves.

A Flock of Seaguls ..obviously a studio band from the 80's..the dude couldnt sing!

Arrested Development - thought they did a great job on Tennssee. Heaven was a bit overdone i thought. But they played to the crowd with their great stage energy.

Tiffany- my god she tore up Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway ..awesome. I didnt hear much of I think Were Alone now . I was too busy watching waiting for her to fall out of her top. That outfit worked when she was 17 ..but now..yikes!

They repeat "The Apprentice" (or did) on CNBC, which seriously has nothing better on, and VH1 (not NBC affilated, though) seems to picks up these kinds of pop culture shows. They air that game show blooper thing, which I think was filler on NBC's shecdule, all the time!

I agree, too. Arrested Development was by far the best, although that's not saying too much compared to the other acts that were on there. By far the worst was Loverboy. "Working for the Weekend" was never a great song, and neither is "Hero". What a friggin' sappy, over-dramatic song, and the way Loverboy did it even made it more drama-queen that Enrique's version, which I find hard to believe. It was like an awful "overexaggeration" of an already bad song. Almost like a Saturday Night Live skit.

Loverboy...
Not good. Sounded decent on Working for the Weekend and less than OK on the other tune.
It appeared as if this is a case of Lover-BOY for real. (Mike Reno and some other guys)
He was the only one interviewed. Not very band-like.

CeCe Peniston...
Sounded/looked good on both tunes.

Flock of Seagulls...
Should stay in the nostalgia ranks.
Thought he had made up with his brother (VH-1 Bands Reunited), but based on the back-up band, obviously not.

Arrested Development...
Sounded good. Definitely had the crowd but the act looks tired.

Tiffany...
She was really pitchy dawg. Not feelin' it at all.

Don't have a problem with the Arrested Development win. I'd have gone with CeCe Peniston.
