I don't wanna split hairs here, but I just checked the notes from the Startime box set. it says "I don't want nobody..." was recorded in early '69, at least a year before the Pacesetters incl. Bootsy and Catfish entered stage after the old JBs left. is there probably another recording of the track you're talking about? Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. u know, now that i look back at my source, i was looking at "Super Bad" instead of this track. Yep Dancelot is right, Bootsy and Catfish are indeed not playing on this track. Sorry ya'll for the mixup... I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |
