mine.....New kids on the block.....not really 'cause of the boys looks, but some of their songs remindme of childhood and r pop funky and fun! That tv show they had cracked me up too.....I do purt 'em above New edition (just!) Above New Edition? Based on what? The New Kids had one good song-- Please Don't Go Girl I think it was-- and then dude's voice changed and that was that. The Jackson 5 was the prototype. New Edition was really good up until N.E. Heartbreak. The things about these bands is that they were really boys so it was cool for them to be singing the songs they were. N'Sync and BSB were too damned old to be singing those simple bubblegum songs. It doesn't come off too well to those of us over 15. I understand though that it's probably an associative thing for you, but New Kids wasn't even close. If we were just talking about B2K, 98 degrees and all of these recent groups I'd give the nod to N'Sync. | |

that reminds me of this time i was trying to get into a nightclub with a do-rag and a wife beater on, and the bouncer wouldn't let me in cuz i had "gang attire" on. and i politely told him "there's no such thing as a 'gay gang', the proper term is 'boy band'". i still didn't get in.
