Why does Usher think he's better than JT, at least JT has touched an instrument. Unless you are Prince or a small handful of other artist you don't speak like that. What an idiot, was he the only one who didn't see his hideous performance that opened the show? Damn, 2 or 3 trendy pop R&B hits and he's the man now.

PS- weren't they practically making out at a Lakers-Timberwolves game in this year's Westeren Conference Finals.....so sad when public couples spit.

Thats basically my point. Why would you brag just because you suck less than somebody else. THEY BOTH SUCK. Truthfully I liked Justified more than any Usher album. I just don't see his appeal. I mean I could fill a CDR up of his songs and it would be okay, but his albums are just mediocre and he talks like he's the next MJ.

forget the Usher/JT statement, what about the outrageously rude interview he gave at the post show.

He would not let the intervier talk and wouldn't let Alicia Keys talk either. It got so bad that ALicia had to call him out and actually say on camera,,,"CAN I TALK? CAN I ADD SOMETHING?

and even after that he continued to not only dominate the converstaion but ignore what the interviewer was asking to thank more people and talk about his after party plans.

Right at the end,, he stands up and starts yelling something and Alicia looks over at Kanye West and says,," this guy is out of contol".


It was one of the most rude things I've seen a performer do.


he also got visiablly pissed when the crowd was yelling LUDA instaed of his name.

SOmething is wrong with this guy. 5 million records isn't all of that. Shoot his whole career he's only sold like 10 or 12 million but he thinks he's a mega star.

Usher's first line about "i guess there's no comparison" did sound pompous. He is good. A great dancer with great pop sensibility. He's had more than 2 or 3 hits. His 8701 album was incredible and he had hits before that. But I'm not sure he's had a "Cry Me a River" song. I mean River was really unique as far as the vocal delivery and the ethereal music. I think Justin and Usher both have talent.


Anyway, as Usher kept talking it seemed like he was just telling peole to stop comparing them. He even ended with 'there's no competition ... that's my boy." I think he just wants to be more graceful ... like his mentor Sean Combs .. who amazingly gets along well with all the men who screwed his ex-girlfriend (I mean I even saw Chris Judd sporting a Sean John shirt on one show LOL) and people who talk bad about him. I admire that. Hopefully Usher will strive for such diplomacy.



Anyway, about the interview on the couch. Usher has an ego and thought that out of the three, he was the top dog, so he took the lead in the conversation. Alicia represented and took the mike to say her peace. Then Suchin, to me, began talking over Usher because she had to wrap up. I thought she was rude. He was talking softly at first .. then when Suchin cut him off he stood up and kept talking to assert himself and demand respect. I probably would have done the same thing. There are more graceful ways to wrap up an interview in the interest of time.

I did hear Alicia say Usher was out of control ... i don't think she meant that in a bad way ... just that he was too amped or something. I mean and was standing and rallying ....

ursha can suck it. he just added to JT's credibility with that statement, which is a sad thing because JT's kind of a joke himself...but at least he shows some class and keeps from talking shit about his peers (except for when he's talking trash about britney, of course ).

why don't they have a big tough dance off..like in the Beat It video...

I underestimated how much of an idiot he actually is. He just finds ways to be completely obnoxious that you wouldn't think he could. But I'm sure some fanboy will be here to defend him sooner or later.
