okay now evry1 is talkin bout UTCM again what does evry1 think is the best scenes I rate

1. prince in the bath with his duck
2. in the restaurant and wrecka stow
3. on the fone to marys dad
4. girls and boys

i wouldn't know where 2 begin, cuz i've seen this movie so damn much, it seems like one big scene. i should start a thread with all the narrative glitches in UTCM (even tho' it's in my top 3 films).....

hmmm...

1. after christopher races mary around the track, and he's on top of her, he gives himself one long stroke before feeling her up -- love that moment!

2. when we first meet Isaac Sharon (the day after mary's b-day party) -- he's so damn gay in that scene...it don't fit with the rest of his character throughout the film. ("how prettttty..." / "unfortunately not...i have a dinner appointment at 7, but i'm sure your MOTHER will tell me all about it")

3. when christopher is a bit tipsy, and thinks he's meeting mrs. wellington -- but good ol' mary pulled a swindle on him, tricking christopher into going there when her daddy was courtin mrs. wellington -- "christopher ain't gonna fall into that trap, nope, too cool for that, YO ISAAC...stroke her 1 time for me cuzzins, and make sure you put a pillow up under her ass, she like that...Isaac is in the mood, 4 drawers....."

oh god, i got so much more, but it's a nice day in the city -- maybe more later!

My second favorite part is when Mary and Christopher get down and funky in the phone booth. WOOOHOOOO!!!

My favorites:

When he goes into Mary's mother's room by mistake and Tricky hits him on the ass with the rocks because Mary's father is coming.
Chris: "Baby wait, I ain't into all that!"
Tricky: "You did it to Mary's mom. You did it to Mary's mom"


Chris and Mary on the phone.
Mary: "Thinking about what.
Prince/Chris: "Thex" - with a mouth full of bread.


"Pits!!"- that little shiver of disgust he does afterwards cracks me all the way up.


And finally,
"When my ship comes in I ain't gon never treat people like that." When he gets thrown out of Mary's house. It's so funny cause its so not true.

oh no, my all time favorite part is my quote....but i did like that growling noise he did when he was on the couch and mary was talking to her fiance on the phone, then he crawled on the couch like he was a lion....whew that shit turned me on!!!!

and the part near the end when he had mary in the car and then jumps in the backseat and happens to have some shades that he puts on, she's trying to talk to him but he won't say a word. And when he does he says "i love you" in the most innocent way. (i think he may have practiced that line quite a bit to get it to sound sexy, but knowing prince, he probably nailed it right on the head the first time)

Then she says "no u don't" Chris: "alright then i hate you", Mary: "no u don't hate me" , Chris: "then i love you", Mary: "define love"

then he kisses her from the backseat and ends up in the front by the end of the kiss. Classic!!!!

Gosh all of u mentioned good parts you pretty much covered all of my fave parts. I love that movie hence my avatar and quote.

1. The part where he jumps over the balcony and says pizza man! and goes into her mothers room. Hell I love that whole scene, the rock hitting him in the ass, to Tricky saying "You did it to Mary's mom" that cracks me up every time.
2. The part where Mary calls him and hes talking on the phone and eats the bread and it makes that loud crunch noise lol!
3. The part where he goes to Ms. Wellington's house and gets in Issacs car... then when he says "Stroke it a couple times for me cuzzin..." Yup U know the rest lol! (Great ass shot on that part btw )
4. I love the part where he first sees Mary at the party and hes giving her "the eye"!! He looked so sexy but I probably would have laughed at him.
5. The part where he says "Pits" and walks away (another great ass shot!! )
6. "Butterscotch, Chocolate... No Way" nuff said!
7. Wrecka Stow and the Girls and Boys performance

i like the part right before the whole wrecka stow part when he asks the waiter for a pencil in french and then says to mary, "that's french, you understand." that part cracks me up! i usually rewind it becasue it's so damn funny!


i haven't seen that movie in a long while and it's my favorite prince movie. scratch that, it's one of my favorite movies! i guess i'll have to get the DVD when it comes out.

The whole movie is funny! When he say's "that's french" or when he's in the bath tub or when he say's "pizza man." The movie was very under rated and I think a head of it's time.

I agree Prime the movie is very under rated. But I guess it would be hard coming out with a movie like this especially with the masterpiece PR coming before it. But I still love the movie. I watch it all the time.
