Its funny that no one has mentioned "Little Red Corvette" this song was recenlty voted in a top 100 list. Another favourite would be "why you wanna treat me so bad"

because he didn't play the solo in that apparently (dez dickerson did)....though from the way it's played it does sound quite princely.

This thread must have been run by 10 people already in the past 2 months. Best P all-time guitar solo is "Purple Rain". Doesn't matter if it's from the album, live in concert, what band he's playing with, doesn't matter. To me, it's his signiture solo.

No one mentioned Little Red Corvette because Prince didnt play the solo. Dez did.
