What Do U Want Me 2 Do? ...sounds out of place to me on a album where a song that sounds out of place shouldn't sound out of place, if you know what I mean. I wasn't wild about it when it was released through the club, either.

On The Couch. Already has grown on me after hearing it live in Dallas.

The album - yes. I honestly believe it could hit No. 1 in the UK Album Chart. The single won't do as well if there's no exclusive track on there.

What is the last Prince album you actually enjoyed?

From beginning to end, 'Batman'.

What Do U Want Me 2 Do. I didn't like it that much when it first came out.

WDUWM2D. Maybe Reflection too. I like having it on the album, but it isn't a good final track, and having heard it a million times before makes it feel out of place.

ICPC, Dear Mr. Man, and Musicology already are.

I dunno. My sister, whose Prince collection consists of Purple Rain, ATWIAD, Diamonds and Pearls, and The Hits 1 thought it was fantastic, so maybe the album will click with the casual Prince fan.

Yeah I actually do. At first no, but it's a really easy listening and fun CD.
I think if the single takes off it has big potential.
It's as good if not better than anything

I think it'll do better than anything he's put out in the last 10 years, but I don't know if it'll chart very high

Thoroughly? It would be 'Gold'. Overall? I actually find something to enjoy about all of his albums.

Life O' The Party. When you've written 1999, it's no longer a good idea to write a "party song".

Life O the Party and, so far, A Million Days -- so many like this song and I just find it annoying. Cinnamon Girl is this close from being in this category, but is rescued by its thought-provoking lyrics.

Perhaps I'll grow to like If Eye was the Man in your life and A Million Days a bit more. I already like the former well enough. All tracks besides Life O' the Party and A Million Days sound great or at least decent. The slow jams and funk elements are right on.

Do you think Musicology will be a chart-topper?
It depends on how much play the single and the video of Musicology get. Given the fact it doesn't seem to fit rdio formats, and taking into consideration the load of good press Prince is getting these days, I'd say the chances are about 50/50. It could happen, but there's still a lot of odds to beat.

Musically, it was TRC. Overall, I'd have to go back to TGE.

I was really pleased. REALLY REALLY pleased.

If I Was The Man In Your Life. I can not stop listening to this song! It's too catchy; could be a hit like Maroon 5's "This Love."

Probably Life O' The Party. It's not awful like Jughead or anything, but it's my least favourite so far.

Do you think Musicology will be a chart-topper? I don't know about topping the charts, but it will definitely be his most successful album in many years. And unlike Rave and Gold, he's got positive publicity and a tour going. And unlike Emancipation, the label isn't likely to fold this time.
