whats prince finest live moments with the guitar?

hi all,
after the rhof threads i was thinking of what have been princes finest moments with the axe live? i'd b interested to hear ure suggestions. ok i'll do the obvious ones first with just my imagination (small club) and joy in repitition (it aint over).

and i'll add to that "motherless child" from the septimo show, nov 1999. give me chills.

I actually adore the entire Purple Rain extended guitar indulgence on the Prince and the Revolution Live video.

The performance of "Purple Rain" from the last show of the Purple Rain tour is absolutely one of the most amazing guitar performances I've heard.

Guitar-solos (there r 3) on "Whole lotta love" club vega, copenhagen 2002.

Hmmm, if we limit this to official releases, I'd have to say that The Ryde from the Sacrific of Victor video is simply incredible! best version I ever head, and still on that video, his solos on Call the Law are stunning too, and hisfacial expresions crack me up at the same time! Joy in repitition was amazing too..

On boots that I've head, Rave un2 from the 88 rotterdam aftershow - absolutely manic and masterful!! Also more recently and again from Rotterdam was the last ONA aftershow playing ?of u medley - just sublime!!!

All of the above plus Purple house on the rave DVD.

I have a video of Controversy from around 1998, I think it was played in Nevada or something...the rhythm guitar on that is the coolest on earth

Also I love the Santana medleys from the ONA soundchecks

and I loved his guitar on Rainbow Children when I went to see him in Manchester 2002

an artist with no fans is really just a man with a hobby....

maybe not the best technically, but certainly a show stealer in '87 on the mtv awards.

I would like to add "Just my imagination" on a Lovesexy Paris aftershow boot.."Small club". So beautiful, you'll cry.
And his "Purple Rain " solo on the "Viva Las Vegas" boot.
I've dug so may "Purple Rain" solos over the years...from the previously mentioned Syracuse show up to the Rave dvd....just when I thought his soloing couldn't get any more majestic, I heard "Viva Las Vegas".
That changed my mind
