How does Prince plan to sell a cd if he gives it away to everyone? Although for the record these live concerts in movie theaters are usually $10 and this one costs $15 so it's more like getting the cd at around cost.

UK orgers..... I just done a search and we DO have Regal Cinemas here in the UK! Fingers crossed now The time zone differences would make it very tough to broadcast live. Also, don't you think they would have mentioned it in the email? Bowie did worldwide transmissions but they announced that some would not receive it live.

Look at it this way: it doesn't cost much at all to manufacture the CD since he does it in-house. That way, he STILL makes a little off them. We don't know how much the theatre is charging him for this kind of showing across the country, so the profit is anyone's guses. Also, doesn't this go towards being recognized in the industry as another CD sold per ticket sold? Maybe someone like otan can help me out on that one... darn grammar edits... Got my tickets in Columbus Ohio. If you live in Columbus, it is showing at the Georgesville Regal Cinema, right off of I-270. Hurry, tickets are going quick!!

I personally will wait for the real thing because I KNOW all the Minneapolis FAMS will be in the theater screaming and annoying me. At least at the concert it's part of the atmosphere but it doesn't work in a theater.

He has this little place in Minneapolis that he uses to print his independent releases. My stepdad used the same place and they had a little Prince display on all the work they've done for him.

Out of my assumptions of it being an actual record company, I mentioned in-house. This means either it's literally done IN a building owned by PP or in very close contact or control of the manufacturing process. I am MrVictor....

I will investigate... I just checked ot their website and called regal cinemedia. They confired that they have no cinemas in the UK, however I asked them if they knew of any plans for the show to be shown at any other cinema complexes in th UK or Europe and they are emailing me an answer. I also asked if there were any plans for the show to be made available for purchase either through them or Prince directly. I'll post it as soon as I find out.
