Has Prince Ever Visited Africa?

I've been watching the PBS series about the blues. . .the first installment followed a young blues guitarist who made kind of a "visiting of the ancestors" in the South and in West Africa. Made me wonder if Prince had ever done the same. . .especially since someone mentioned that he might be visiting Tahiti (or is it Fiji?) because it was a place he had never been.

Yeah, Just because he didn't go to the kind of africa that people have in their mind (jungle, lions, tigers, and bears, Oh My!) I don't blame him, I wouldn't go to the jungle either! Lol
