huh?

The previous lyric goes 'A woman everyday should be thanked, not disrespected, not raped or spanked.'
Therefore Prince is obviously saying he would never commit these acts on a lady himself.

Like the best Poets a lot of Prince's lyrics are things that can be intuitivly understood, but do not make any sense literally

Here's one that's always got me... I know he explained to Oprah that Let's Go Crazy meant to make a connection with God and that the Elevator was the devil... but what with this line...
