a friend of mine just received the beautiful strange video but she cannot veiw it bcuz the VHS tape is in a Pal version format.do anyone know how to convert this format to be viewed here in the USA or is she just out of luck?

hopefully, where you live, there is a company that will convert that for you...check out the phone book under Video Tapes (or something like that)

It's certainly not worth spending any money to convert formats as the tape is just so-so, but it shouldn't be that hard to track down the correct format or just to buy the bootleg dvd that is floating around.

The cheapest way is probably to buy an NTSC bootleg or DVD. Or, get a cheap PAL video recorder (assuming your TV supports PAL).

Of course, bootlegs are wrong etc, and we can't advise where to find such a thing. Because bootlegs make baby Jesus cry
