Syracuse vs. other Purple Rain performances I am very familiar with the Syracuse performance, but now my eyes/ears have been opened to some other stops on this tour. I think they really nailed it in Syracuse, but I'm curious in comparing and contrasting. Are there any hi-lights/lowlights in PR Tour performances. What are the best moments in PR Tour live performances, and what are the worst? ...and where did they happen?

The Purple Rain Tour dates didn't really differ THAT much from place to place.
The Syracuse is a fan-freakin'-tastic show, but if you get the chance, check out the 'Purple Rain Tour Finale, Miami 7th April 85', it's special just because it's the final show. | |

i prefer the audio bootleg of the Miami gig to the NY show.

i have 3 shows from the pr tour: syracuse, atlanta and miami. syracuse is fun to watch...atlanta's kinna bleh...miami is the shit!!!
