So,is the retail release of 'N.E.W.S.' really being put back...

..until NPGMC members get their copies?

i am disappointed cuz i wanted 2 hear it on my birthday when it is (was meant) 2 b released in retail...

but on the other hand,it is only fair that memebrs get it first.

No, not really upset.

We are non-members so we refused to pay 25$ (and in my opinion, we still did right in doing so) but we must not complain if members get a special benefit. Even if that benefit is something stupid like getting a CD a few days earlier and more expensive than us (if you live in Europe, the CD will be indeed more expensive because of the NPGMC postage costs).

Additionally, I don't expect too much from that CD, judging from what I have heard about it here so far. It's instrumental and the reviews sound even less enthusiastic than they did with Xpectation.

I don't know how to say it ... Americans tend to forget that there's an outside world to the U.S. You can sometimes watch this behaviour at the org. And Europeans tend to forget the rest of the world, too.
So I think it's really legitimate for you Australians, and Asians to remind us Europeans & Americans from time to time that there are lots of other fans around.

If the expressions "lots" is still suitable for Prince fans of course.

I guess NPGMC said that they underestimated the demand for NEWS (bullsh**) and the first edition of NEWS is sold out and some members have to wait for the second edition.
The speculation is: If members have to wait for their copy, non-members will have to wait more than ever.

I honestly don't believe they are gonna push back the retail release of N.E.W.S. There were members who didn't get their ONAL until after it was released to the public.

I'm hoping that at least one other NPGMC member will report that they have not yet received their copy of NEWS. I ordered at the site on day 1, 2 copies, but chose snail-mail delivery. Anyone else still waiting???

I'm in Thailand but I ordered mine to be sent to the UK. It arrived a few days back, and cost me about 11 pounds something. So, that's before anyone can buy it at retail, but perhaps 3 pounds more???

This whole member/non-member thing is boring. If u want to join, join. If not, don't. It's really very boring talking about which option is better. Membership is only about 15 pounds or less (25 US dollars)!
