stymie, i can't imagine by the descriptions in the post that you (or, dare i dream...i?) would fit on this list...b/c of this comment alone:

i know that my beef with prince and his site at the moment is the fact that it has hardly ANYthing to do with music. i LOVE t alking about music, especially prince music (duh!).

although i do tend to agree with you too on this one, shausler...the whole cream cheese/bagel/eat a leaf thing is...well, i mean i certainly wouldn't say that prince is currently at his BEST, lyrically. (although avalanche stands out in my mind as an obviously superior song, lyrically).

do i get a certain thrill out of certain period's of prince's music, where i feel like there was just much more ENERGY and LOVE and PASSION put into the music? sure i do. but i'm not one of those people who sits here and says "aw, prince sucks now." (not that there's anything wrong with THAT opinion either, that's as valid as anything). i like many parts of rave (both versions), NPS, hell i LOVE emancipation..i really dig xpectation and MANY of the downloads from year 1.

why am i defending myself? sorry, i'm a bit on the defensive lately...i guess because i don't see how shausler fits the description at all. dude is ALL ABOUT the music.

Your right, you know I haven't met too many lately- because I stay in mostly. But I can recall some people straight up dissing Prince, and then I would go into their home and they would have like two posters framed in their living room, that's right their living room. I never could understand that.

And then there was the so called fans, but when a concert came around, they couldn't take off from work.

BTW, hello everyone, my name is Diana and I'm a confirmed Princeoholic. I've loved his music ever since the first time I heard "1999". Since then I've bought lots of his vinyl, almost all his cassettes, and I'm trying to make sure my CD's are updated too.

The world is sure full of strange people, like these jerks that have nothing better to do with their lives than to write books about people that are full of lies and exaggerations... Does anyone know if Prince ever did an auto or an authorized biography???
