My collegue loves her Peloton and did the Prince class last night. She came in so excited to tell me that she sees why I love Prince so much now. She loved the class, his music, and apparently they worked some Prince history into the class dialogue (bio, award stats, etc). The playlist was all Prince hits of course. |

I don't get the idea of paying monthly for a stationary bike but promotion is promotion.

Same as when Prince went on that terrible New Girl show I get you. But, the classes really are good, and they motivate you to produce. My wife takes multiple classes on that bike daily and she’s as fit as she’s ever been. She took the Prince class last night and said it was one of the most attended classes she’s ever seen. 💪🏼 Besides, like you said...promotion is promotion. | |

In related news, the major labels now make $1,000,000.00 an hour, by streaming alone. :-o That's $24,000,000.00 profit daily for doing not much more than paying people to upload files to streaming services. Yes, they'll have other costs... But they'll also have other profits from selling physical media, licensing music and artwork to the likes of Peloton and t-shirt companies, etc. It's crazy how much profit the record companies still make. https://www.musicbusiness...streaming/ | |

I love the Peloton app- just 13 dollars a month and I get spin classes, strength, cardio, running, yoga, etc. (I have a non-Peloton bike). Anyway, I have done the Prince classes and the music made the time fly by! I just wish the instructors would’ve coordinated a little as many of the same songs were played in different classes. Anyway, so thrilled to finally hear Prince! I hope his music shows up in future classes as well. [Edited 8/26/20 17:50pm] | |
