Recent Bob Cavallo piece?

For some reason I am just seeing this interesting article. Has it been posted? Search gave me nothing.

Wow, a Broadway show would've been cool.

After Prince’s death, Cavallo wanted to collaborate with “Purple Rain” director/screenwriter Albert Magnoli on a Broadway version of the film. He even lined up an interested investor, but Troy Carter, entertainment adviser to the Prince estate, wasn’t interested in working with Cavallo’s team, the producer said.

^^^ Passive agressive, inferring that he was a raging addict all of his life.

Give it up. You holier-than-thou types have never needed some pain relief to get through something as important as he did. He succeeded because he gave it up; he didn't whine, like so many do.

Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

There must be some conspiracy going on, all these people that knew Prince saying he was clean.

If so many close to him say he was clean, so many people close to him (even in the investigation phone interviews), saying that Prince got them all eating healthy, and living healthy, not to mention the fact that his lyrics have a recurring anti addiction theme running through them from day one, oh and the fact that he treated his body like a temple when it came to what he ate and drank. Prince was beyond disciplined in all aspects of his life, music, religion, business, diet, etc, but somehow he just couldn't get enough blow each and every day, and decided to be a hypocrite instead, talking about being clean, writing about being clean, appearing to be clean, all while fooling everyone he came in contact with.

There is no proof that exists to support him being an addict at any time in his life. If one honestly believe that, then somewhere along the line they have been duped, fooled, hoodwinked or bamboozled.

All these people conspiring together to try to make Prince look like he lived a clean life, I wonder what their motive is? Are there meetings where all these people get together so they can all be on the same page when asked this question?

Come on PetaSilas, you are smart enough to realize the term blow was used loosely as a descriptor for an addict. And if you are not, then now you know. You may have missed this line as well "There is no proof that exists to support him being an addict at any time in his life." Instead of trying to dodge the idea that he was clean by creating diversions based on symantecs, understand that the questions are rhetorical, and not really directed at anyone.

i'm not smart when it comes to drugs, i thought blow meant coke and only coke but i could be wrong. I saw the article, it seems this man as well as several others around at the time were at the very least, under the impression that he was clean.

No, you are right PetaSilas, it typically is in reference to cocaine.

Actually, M2 told the police P had a drug problem, as well as Crystal.

....and you continually argue that he was not through your clever wording that you then deny.
Look, he had a dependence during the last years of his life and we know why.
There's no shame in that (but obviously he felt that due to weasel-wording "fams").

I thought i was talking about the statement that he was clean in the 80's, hmm, i'll go back and reread my "clever wording".
