He just sent a message that he appreciated my appreciation of him, essentially. I think he liked how I responded to the negative people who tried to derail the thread. I request that people only post positive messages and no back handed compliments. Yet, that didn't stop people from being negative. I handle the situation with care and of course no name calling.

It's funny to think he may have known some of us old timers more than we'd have thought. You can't help but wonder? Did any of my posts bring a smile to his face? Upset him? I was sometimes on the verge of trolling when supporting him and his music against hostile fans. Would that make him amused or happy to see people supporting him, would it upset him because it was not "love 4 one another" when we got too angry? IDK, it does not matter, but I owe that man so much that I wouldn't have wanted to upset him.

And yeah, I think it'd be cool if the mods would agree to not just reveal his potential orgnames but compile and publish any post that was IP'd as coming from Paisley Park. It's history now, I don't think it would violate his privacy the way, say, publishing his diaries or emails would, and yet again we publish great artist's diaries and letters after they die, they're historically important to researchers and fans alike.

Agree with both of you. But I think the decision to publish his Org activity, for example, ultimately should be made by the Estate, not by the mods.

While I would absolutely love to know, part of me likes not knowing. A last little bit of the mystery and mystique he cultivated his entire life. It's like I can pretend he's still out there, somewhere, quietly observing.

Yes, I've always wondered this. Especially after the investigation reports confirmed he visited here. I hope he read my posts after seeing him in Manchester in Feb 2014. But not so much my initial thoughts on Phase 1.

one poster who claimed to know him said that Prince saw the org then the blind item that said he had aids and it "was a factor in why we lost him" cryptic but i assume that meant that if they knew Prince they knew that he would try to be even more secretive about the addiction, but I don't know. Either way, Prince must have been a masochist to look on this shite.

I cant think of a more toxic place for him to visit than here. If he ever did, hopefully it was in short bursts, and then he took a nice long shower.

ya, he couldn't do shit right according to these assholes, I'm still angry about that. The people here just waited, rubbing their palms together, for whatever his next move would be so they could find fault with it. Never understood his "fans", people dislike elvis or springsteen but you don't see them hanging out on fan sites dedicated to those men.

Why do the gatekeepers/mods feel like they have to keep his user names a secret at this point? The power-lording around here is ridiculous sometimes.
