While I may echo EmmaMcG's comment, I do have a list:

  1. Sex Shooter (Vanity version)
  2. Nasty Girl (Prince's vocal)
  3. I Would Die 4 U (full 30-minutes that the 12" was taken from)
  4. Old Friends 4 Sale (and it's natural original segue into...)
  5. All My Dreams

Other contenders:

The first four songs from Parade with Clare's strings

I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man (1982 version)

Raspberry Beret (1982 version)

The Ball

Let's Rock (if there is an original version, which later became "Let's Work")

Like A Prayer (Madonna cover)

Bad (MJ cover)

"eye don’t really care so much what people say about me because it is a reflection of who they r."

I'd like to hear the tracks recorded in 2004-2012 that were in the vault.

Never heard about this one. Does Princevault reference it?

there's so much 90's stuff we never heard. According to peeps that worked in shifts at the studios...

But The Ball is one that I hope gets released in it's original album config or at least pristine quality... with Rebirth of the Flesh as well. I do know the current boot versions are damn good.

- She's Just A Baby
- In A Large Room With No Light

- Love Thy Will Be Done

- Joy In Repetition (low toms intro, harsher mix)
- All Day All Night

... mainly for better sounding versions than what's out there.

I came across one that I don't know if it can be topped,
sounds like the very best you can get.
Real studio quality, crazy dynamics.

I'm not that interested in sound quality, so unless the circulating version absolutely sucks, then I definately prefer songs I haven't heard.

Me too.

I mean, it's setting ourselves up for what is probably just going to sound like a Planet Earth outtake (Pretty good! Kinda dull) but goddam, I want to hear it.

To me the song what Prince describes as "So out there that no one is ready for it" would be

something like the extended "Hallway Speech" version of Computer Blue. Do you think that Prince back in 1996-96 was capable of making music this crazy and eclectic???

Capable? Yes.

Still though, my guess would be that when he said "out there" he meant spiritually rather than musically, hopefully we'll find out some day.

The leaked Crystal Ball tape of these songs is about as good as we've gotten, no?

this one

my understanding is that it comes directly from a Paisley Park in-house cassette, although i'm not sure it was ever confirmed. Certainly it doesn't sound like it was compiled from different sources.

There is also the possibility of a kind soul
having ripped the Camille LP pressing test.
