Let It Go Cavier radio edit

Wow what an improvement is this alternate take of Let It Go.

Synth bass and overall vibe are more 80s funk rnb

oriented than the crappy album version.

how come this version never gets love here on org

I love the "Letitgo" remixes, I always have. I think "Space" is always going to be the superior set of mixes from COME, but "Letitgo" comes in a solid second.

The Sherm Stick Remix is quite nice with The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker samples but the others are unremarkable to me.
.
As you say the Space mixes are far superior, to most IMO.
.
I like the remixes he did were he recorded new/different vocals like Space (Funky Stuff and Universal Love), I Hate U (Extended Remix), Gett Off (Housestyle), Face Down (X-tended Rap Money Mix), Come On (Remix and Late Nite Mix), TMBGIW mixes, etc. The likes of these make the ones were he just uses the same vocal track a bit lazy (who the fuck am I to call him lazy, I know)

For me the Sherm Stick remixes are some of my all time favourite Prince remixes.

These remixes take this track into such as incredible direction - and that is exactly the job of a remix.

Amazing!!!

I think they were referencing the whole album sounding like a bank of loops, which is absolutely false in that it's all COME is. COME is one of his best 90s records. It's truly a moody journey.

to the original poster, may I be a little critique towards u??

ok, it sounds to me like u made "a discovery" recent with the "Sherm stick" remix?? = just recent?

Well this was released ages ago, on the Letitgo cd-single,

When it was released back i 1994.. I was so bored with it.

Just a rhythm from "The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker" (IIRC).

The original song in the original mix, is superior..

Ok the sherm remix is okay, but very monotoneus, much more "life" imho in the original song.

Ok if u love the remix better, who am I to say u can't? lol

Let's disagree then, however.. u do know that u are sounding somehow like a newbie who made such "an important discovery" just the other day, don't u..?

The news is rather old, ok yes, like the song (and remix), these are very old, as well.. wink wink
