Prince special edition by Newsweek...

Let me say from the beginning, that for the die-hard Prince fan, there is nothing written in it that you don't already know. But, there are the photographs. There I was in line at the dreaded Wallyworld checkout, buying groceries after a long day at work, and they got me! Here I am in the cultural desert of the midwest, and it's a beautiful color photo of him that I have never seen. I don't even know what I paid for the stupid magazine, but I bought it, and was late getting home because I had to sit in the parking lot and devour it for a while.

But, I have some good news. On Page 87 of this too-slick production, there is an article entitled, "Scream Machine". It ranks his 15 best screams, and gives credit to one of our own Prince.Orgers for the list. (controversy99) Hey dude, I hope you got paid well for them reprinting this. See, your mom always said you would never get anything out of playing music or hammering away on the com-poo-ter, but she can be wrong at times.

Anyhow, I was off today, so I thought I would let you all know it is out there. You all have a super-funky, purple spotlight with rainbows kind of day.

P.S. The pie chart they did in color on who Prince's musical influences were is something to hang on to as well.

Good morning children...take a look out your window, the world is falling...

It is apparently new. Right under the bar code it says, "Display until November 10, 2018."

On the third page it starts out..."Two years ago, the world lost one of its foremost musical pioneers..."
